To split an HL7 message file into individual messages:
Step 1: Select a file in the files list:
Files List in the Working with HL7 tab
Step 2: Click the 'Split >>' button

When you click this button, Commando will 'Split' the selected HL7 message file into individual messages (up to 500). The messages will show up in the message list. |
Step 3: Commando will break the selected file into individual HL7 messages (up to 500) and create the Messages List (with large files you can 'Cancel' to stop in the middle of this operation).

Step 4: Select a message in the list and click one of the action buttons.

This button opens up a single message in the message list in the HL7 file manager |

Displays the 'raw' hl7 of the selected message in a pop-up window. |

Opens a Commando Report window for the selected HL7 message |

Closes the message list and clears all previously 'split' HL7 messages from memory. |
