In the upgrade window just make your selections from the HL7+ Features. In the screenshots above you will note that we've elected to add 1 HL7+ Database Schema and the HL7+ Notepad to this installation. In the Upgrade Costs section you will see the impact of your selections updated in real time, both the charge for the upgrade(s) you select as well as the impact on the Annual Renewal costs. Costs are generally prorated from the current date until the expiration of your HL7+ subscription. There are exceptions for the HL7+ Notepad and the HL7+ Visual Studio Objects which are always a flat fee (US$10.00) to add to an installation after it's been created.

Once you have completed your selection(s) click OK and you'll be prompted to confirm/approve the invoice for the upgrade (if there is one) and voila it will be done. The upgrade is applied and is automatically distributed to the HL7+ Client Installation within 24 hours.

animatedlink I have an installation 2 Listener Ports and I want to change that to 1 Listener Port and 1 Outbound Port. Can I exchange features? YES! Absolutely. A change of that kind would result in NO CHARGE.

animatedlink Can I downgrade an installation? Yes, you can remove features from an installation, however, you will be prompted to confirm that you understand that there are no refunds for any unused benefit of that feature.

Exceptions:

Upgrades to DEMO installations are free and can be done anytime. Charges for the DEMO installations are billed when you convert the DEMO installation to LIVE.

You cannot upgrade a LIVE installation if there are any unpaid invoices for that installation (see Billing).
