Uninstalling the Services |

Just as installation of the Listener and Router services had to be done in two steps, uninstalling should be done in two steps as well. Before you begin, open the system services and make sure neither the listener or router service is running (see Starting the Listener). After this do the following:
If you have installed the HL7 Listener service:
| 1. | Open the configuration program and click 'Uninstall Listener' from the 'File' menu of the Listener configuration window. This will unregister the application as a service. |
| 2. | If you are also using the Router service see the steps below. When completed close the configuration program. |
| 3. | Uninstall the application as you would normally in windows by using 'Add/Remove Programs' in the 'Control Panel' |
If you have installed the HL7 Multi-Port Listener Service:
| 1. | Open the configuration program and click 'Uninstall Multi-Port Listener Service' from the 'File' menu of the Multi-Port Listener configuration window. This will unregister the application as a service. |
| 2. | If you are also using the Router service see the steps below. When completed close the configuration program. |
| 3. | Uninstall the application as you would normally in windows by using 'Add/Remove Programs' in the 'Control Panel' |
If you have installed the HL7 Router service:
| 1. | Open the configuration program and click 'Uninstall Router' from the 'File' menu of the Router configuration window and then close the configuration program. This will unregister the application as a service. Now you are ready to uninstall the program. |
| 2. | Uninstall the application as you would normally in windows by using 'Add/Remove Programs' in the 'Control Panel' |
If you have installed the HL7 Multi-Destination Router service:
| 1. | Open the configuration program and click 'Uninstall Router' from the 'File' menu of the Multi-Router configuration window and then close the configuration program. This will unregister the application as a service. Now you are ready to uninstall the program. |
| 2. | Uninstall the application as you would normally in windows by using 'Add/Remove Programs' in the 'Control Panel' |
