If you configure a database maintenance plan for any schema profile it will be run automatically by any inbound or outbound processors that service that schema.
You can configure two different processor warning levels and both only apply to Inbound Processors.
Data Truncation occurs when HL7 data is received which is too small to fit into a database field.
Unknown Segment occurs when an HL7 message contains a segment which does not exist in the HL7 Vendor definition (and thus does not exist in the Schema Data Tables).
