Upgrading Your Software Version Only

 

If you are a current user of an older version of this product and merely need to upgrade your software to the latest version, the process is free and painless. All that you need to do is:

 

•If your program uses MS Windows Services and they are running, stop them.

•Close the Configuration Program (if open).

•Download the latest version from our web site.

•Double click the downloaded MSI file and run the installer. All you have to do is install the new version right over the old version, typically there is no need to REMOVE the old version first but if it is required you will be prompted to do so. There is no harm in removing the old version first, you won't lose your license, or runtime profiles etc.

 

Upgrading or Moving Your License

 

If you have a product license which can be upgraded. Example, you have a Single Port license for our UltraPort HL7 TCP/IP Listener and wish to upgrade that license to 2 ports. OR, since all of our licenses are "per computer", you have a license on ComputerA which you need to move to ComputerB, refer to the online help for that product for instructions or contact us for assistance.
