EasyHL7™ Standard Router Service v4
The Hermetech HL7 Router service facilitates outbound (sending) HL7 messages via TCP/IP to a remote computer running an HL7 listener. HL7 messages are read from files in a predefined folder on your computer. See the Version History for a list of past updates.
There is only one installation program which installs all of the EasyHL7 TCP/IP products on your computer, see Installation Instructions for complete details.
• | Compatible with standard TCP/IP HL7 message listener software. |
• | Runs as a system service, no user logon required. |
• | Easy configuration and set up. Be up and running minutes after installation. |
• | An integrated system monitor. View router service system statistics and status from a local OR remote computer. |
• | Can work in 'Smart' mode and determine from the message being sent whether an acknowledgement is expected from the receiver. |
• | Acknowledgements from the receiving application's listener service are received and archived automatically. |
• | User defined 'retry' count allows you to set how many times to send a message to a listener without receiving an acknowledgement before giving up. |
• | User defined 'retry' timeout allows you to set how long the router should wait for an acknowledgement from the listener before giving up or retrying. |
• | Unacknowledged messages are archived individually for easy 'reposting' if necessary. |
• | Message control logging. |
