Checkpoints are 'backups' of your HL7 Document Templates saved in your Template Libraries. In the toolbars or menus
look for the blue pushpin icon (
) to find actions relating to creating checkpoints or restoring from a previous version.
You can create a template checkpoint at any time and it's usually a pretty good idea to do so regularly, particularly if you are designing a particularly large or complex template.
Note that even when restoring a template from a prior version the current version is maintained and incremented.

Keep your Template Library files from becoming too large by removing old checkpoints that you know that you won't be using in the future. |
